The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ) is pleased to announce leadership changes at three of its business units: Trademark Metals Recycling (TMR), River Metals Recycling (RMR) and Metal Recycling Services (MRS). Effective immediately, Jim Becker, current President of RMR and MRS will assume the role of President of Trademark Metals Recycling. Bob Eviston, current Vice President of Commercial for RMR and MRS will become President of River Metals Recycling and Metal Recycling Services.

DJJ’s Metals Group and JW Aluminum Announce Scrap Agency Agreement

The David J. Joseph Company’s Metals Group (DJJ) and JW Aluminum are pleased to announce that effective January 21, 2013, JW Aluminum is utilizing DJJ as the primary scrap buying agent for the Mt. Holly, South Carolina aluminum manufacturing facility. JW Aluminum will continue to source scrap directly from the marketplace for its other three manufacturing facilities.

On November 30, 2012, Advantage Metals Recycling (AMR) purchased the assets and business of Nuelle’s 4X4 Salvage in Higginsville, Missouri. Founded in 1986, Nuelle operates a scrap metal processing facility and a full-service used auto parts store at 19861 Outer Road near the junction of Interstate 70 and Highway 13.

On July 9, 2012, U-Pull-&-Pay (UPAP) purchased the assets and businesses for two self-serve used auto parts stores: Pic-A-Part LLC in Indianapolis and Pull-A-Part Self-Serv Auto & Truck Parts LLC in Phoenix. The Indianapolis and Phoenix locations have been operating under current ownership since 2007 and 2004, respectively.

On March 12, 2012, Metal Recycling Services, wholly owned by The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ), a Cincinnati-based subsidiary of Nucor Corporation, purchased the assets and business of State Line Scrap Metal. Founded in 1991, State Line Scrap Metal operates a full-service scrap processing facility (including an automobile shredder) at 5401 S. York Highway, Gastonia, North Carolina and one Marion, North Carolina feeder yard.

River Metals Recycling (RMR), Greensburg, IN is proud to “be green” and partner with the local community by supporting the Decatur County Community Foundation (DCCF) “ReLeaf” drive.
