We reimagine what others consider useless and begin by purchasing an end of life item like a vehicle or appliance. Our state of the art equipment allows us to process the scrapped material and prepare it to ship to a steel mill to make a new product. All the while, we turn a profit from processing and brokering the material. This is all in a day’s work in the scrap metal industry.

Why would I want to work in the scrap industry?

We get this question a lot. The scrap metal industry is one of the most dynamic in the world. Global trade, economics and sociopolitical issues impact our daily operations. The board room, scrap yard and trading office are the playing fields. Nearly 1,900 of us around the world are empowered to lead our company forward.

Corporate Office

Downtown Cincinnati is our home, and we employ professionals and administrative staff in all career areas here. The culture at our headquarters is relaxed and family-like. We are given autonomy, and the company trusts us to make decisions to better the company. We don’t believe in red tape. We believe every teammate has the knowledge, skill and intelligence to make us successful.

Operations

Whether it’s a recycling center or a self-service used auto parts location, our operations team is dedicated to performance and safety. We believe in working hard to get the job done right the first time, and with the utmost respect paid to maintaining an environment where every teammate can be confident they will return home safely at the end of the day. We employ management professionals and production teammates at each location.

Brokerage Office

Fast-paced and dynamic. That’s the best way to describe one of our brokerage locations. These small offices are staffed by 3-5 professionals responsible for buying and selling scrap metal around the world. Our brokers are usually not too far from their phone, and quite frequently are on the road visiting their customers and our operations facilities.
