CINCINNATI, OHIO and DETROIT, MICHIGAN, March 27–The David J. Joseph Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ferrous Processing & Trading Co., Detroit, Michigan, announce the formation of a joint venture, Gemini Recycling Group LLC (Gemini), which will provide scrap management services for targeted industrial companies. GEMINI will be based in the Detroit area.
Gemini will offer complete scrap management services for local, regional, and global industrial companies of all sizes, providing processing, transportation, and marketing for facilities that generate scrap as a byproduct of their industrial operations. John P. Suchon, formerly Manager of International Ferrous Trading for The David J. Joseph Company, will be Vice President & General Manager of Gemini.
Gemini draws from The David J. Joseph Companys worldwide marketing, logistics, and information systems expertise and from the operating experience of the Midwests most innovative, and one of the regions largest, scrap metal processors — Ferrous Processing & Trading Co. “Gemini will focus on the development of opportunities to assist industry with state-of-the-art metal scrap recycling services that are fully compliant with the most stringent environmental standards,” according to Suchon.
