The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ) operates 11 domestic and 2 international (Hong Kong and Switzerland) ferrous brokerage offices, which deal routinely with several thousand domestic and international producers and consumers of scrap and scrap substitutes.
DJJ's Metals Group brokers copper, brass, nickel, and stainless, in addition to a variety of aluminum products. DJJ operates a Ferro-Alloy and Nodular and Foundry Pig Iron brokerage office serving the steel, foundry, and secondary aluminum industries. Through partnerships and its own operations, DJJ comprises a network of nearly 60 scrap processing facilities in the United States.

Our portfolio of services includes:

• Mill Services: blending, inspection and loading, and switching.
• Industrial Services: processing, arranging transportation, and marketing scrap generated by industrial companies of all sizes. 
• Railcar lease, purchase, sales, and finance: our Rail Equipment Group leases and trades railroad equipment, including new and used railcars throughout North America.
• Private Railcar Fleet: managing a fleet of open top gondola cars to help deliver DJJ traded commodities 
• Railcar Dismantling: railcar scrap and railcar parts reclamation.
• U-Pull-&-Pay: Self-Serve used auto parts retail stores.
