Railcar Switching Railcars for the charging aisle are aligned in the proper sequence for melting. DJJ can take responsibility for all in-plant switching in connection with scrap management services. Inbound scrap shipments are scheduled to closely match production schedules. Rail gondolas are operated to minimize double handling of scrap and demurrage, while maximizing direct charged gondolas into the scrap aisle.
