Scrap Preparation
DJJ operates shredders, mobile and fixed shears, and manual and automatic torches for our
customers. The shredders reduce automobiles and other scrap to small pieces. The shears and
torches cut oversized scrap to sizes that are compatible to the melt shop requirements. Rail
breaking equipment is used to break scrap rail down to smaller sizes. |
