For over a century, we have negotiated freight rates by reviewing every competitive option and aggregating the entire volume of our customer base. We have a web based freight system with 80,000 current rail, truck and barge rates with many more historical rates on file.







Since transportation can represent as much as 15 - 20% of the final delivered cost of scrap, it is an important factor. Our transportation capabilities are unsurpassed. We partner with our customers on many transportation issues including:
