DJJX Railcar Private Railcar Fleet
DJJ operates a private fleet of open top gondola cars to help deliver DJJ traded commodities to the Company's customers. Our fleet of over 2,300 gondolas includes over 1,700 high sided, 4000 - cubic foot gondolas that allow us to expand our market reach for light loading materials, giving our customers more options. The private fleet also includes over 550 gondolas with higher loading capacity up to 286,000 lbs. to move more dense materials. We allow our customers the opportunity to reload our gondolas -- through our "loads in, loads out" program -- to help create an efficient use of assets and an opportunity to reduce costs.

Little did Joseph Joseph know that the small scrap business he began in 1885 would grow into a leading scrap broker and processor 125 years later! DJJ continues to build our reputation on the same cornerstones as our founder: integrity, reliability, innovation and quality.
