Keith B. Grass

Chief Executive Officer

 

Keith Grass joined The David Joseph Company (DJJ) in 1978. Mr. Grass began his career as a Brokerage Representative for the Company and then as District Manager of several DJJ trading offices. He was appointed Vice President, Trading in 1992. From 1996 - 1998, Mr. Grass was on SHV’s Operational Staff in Europe and served as President of Joseph’s International Division. He headed the Metals Recycling Division prior to his promotion to President and CEO of DJJ in 2000. Mr. Grass transitioned to Chief Executive Officer in 2013. Mr. Grass was appointed Executive Vice President of Nucor Corporation when DJJ became part of Nucor in 2008.
 
Mr. Grass holds a B.S degree from Bowling Green State University.

Craig Feldman

President

Craig Feldman joined DJJ in 1986. Mr. Feldman began his career as a Brokerage Representative and then served as District Manager of DJJ’s Salt Lake City brokerage office. Mr. Feldman then assumed his role as Commercial Vice President at Western Metals Recycling (WMR) and later served as President of WMR. Mr. Feldman was a member of the SHV Operational Staff in The Netherlands from 2005 until his 2007 appointment as Executive Vice President, Recycling Operations. Mr. Feldman was promoted to President in 2013. Mr. Feldman was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Nucor Corporation when DJJ became part of Nucor in 2008.

 

Mr. Feldman holds a B.A. degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Jim Goetz

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary

Jim Goetz joined the Company in 1982. He has served as Corporate Controller as well as segment Vice President, Finance for the Recycling and Transportation groups. During 2000 and part of 2001, Mr. Goetz worked in Mexico City with the Transportation Group and then in SHV’s corporate offices in The Netherlands. He was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for The David J. Joseph Company in 2001.


Mr. Goetz holds a B.A. degree from Cedarville University, an M.B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rob Angotti

Executive Vice President, Brokerage and Services

Rob Angotti joined The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ) in 1982. Mr. Angotti began his career with the Company serving as a Brokerage Representative, a Senior Account Manager and then as District Manager of a DJJ trading office before being appointed Vice President, Ferrous Trading in 1997. Mr. Angotti was promoted to Executive Vice President of the Brokerage and Services Group in 2000.

 

Mr. Angotti holds a B.S. degree from Rockhurst University.

Mark Schaefer

Executive Vice President, Recycling Operations

Mark Schaefer joined The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ) in 1985.  Mr. Schaefer has served in a variety of roles including a Brokerage Representative and District Manager in the ferrous trading business, Vice President of Logistic Services, and President of U-Pull & Pay (UPAP), DJJ's self-serve auto parts business.  Mr. Schaefer was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2013.  Mr. Schaefer was appointed General Manager of Nucor Corporation in 2013.

Mark is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and he earned his MBA from Denver University.  

Judy Smith

Senior Vice President, Employee Services

Judy Smith has extensive leadership experience in the Human Resources field.  Ms. Smith joined The David J. Joseph Company in 1992, holding several human resource management positions.  Ms. Smith was promoted to Senior Vice President of Employee Services in 2001.
 
Ms. Smith holds a B.S. degree and an M.B.A. degree from Xavier University.

Chris Bedell

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Chris Bedell joined the Company in 1990, serving in an engineering capacity before leaving to attend law school in 1992. In 1996, Mr. Bedell returned to The David J. Joseph Company as Director of Environmental and Safety Services, then served as Vice President. In 2002, Mr. Bedell was promoted to Vice President and General Counsel for the Company.


Mr. Bedell holds a B.S.E. degree from Duke University and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati.  Mr. Bedell is also a registered Professional Engineer.

Mike Knellinger

Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Mike Knellinger joined The David J. Joseph Company in 2012 as CIO, bringing to The Company over 20 years of leadershp experience in the information technology field.  Mr. Knellinger's experience includes serving as CIO for two healthcare firms, and other technical leadership roles in the manufacturing and legal research industries.

Mr. Knellinger earned his B.S. degree from the University of Dayton.
